GILLIAN GORMAN
With a passion for the art of teaching Vinyasa, her precise & poetic cues for optimal alignment and her awareness of breath, Gillian leads a soulful and safe class for yoga enthusiasts of all levels. Gillian is also the co-founder of Radiance Yoga and the Yoga Institute of the Berkshires. She directs and teaches 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified Teacher Trainings in the Berkshires. In addition to her Yoga education, Gillian is a 1000 hour licensed Massage Therapist with over 10 years in the field of hands on healing.
She is grateful and appreciative to her primary teachers, Schuyler Grant, creator and master teacher of Kula Yoga & Wanderlust; Ana Forrest, creator of Forrest Yoga; William Hedberg, senior instructor of Shen Tao & Gyrotonics; and Barbara Boris, senior Iyengar teacher. Gillian’s yoga is now influenced by her daily adventures as a new Mama to daughter, Leia. A life long student, she continues to expand her knowledge of yoga & movement to better serve her students.

JOHANNA WISE
Yoga has helped Johanna develop a sense of safety and ease within myself. It allows her to appreciate and love her body and mind, and discover that they are only part of who she is. It awoke her to the vastness and interconnectedness of her true self.
Johanna’s intention is to help her students experience deep peace, radiant energy, profound strength and ease, and an open, joyful heart.
Johanna’s classes are meditative, playful, and encourage tuning in to the wisdom of your own body. Her style is influenced by Kripalu, Vinyasa, and classical Ashtanga yoga. When Johanna is not teaching at YogaGB, she is a yoga instructor, R+R program presenter, healing arts therapist, and therapist trainer at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and has a private massage practice.
